RingByName now offers MMS messaging, built into the SMS messaging service. Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) is a standard way to send messages that include multimedia content to and from a mobile phone over a cellular network. MMS allows the sender to send messages with media files, such as pictures, videos, and audio files all in one message or separately in individual messages.

At this time it has no cost but it subject to change based on telecom policies. Check with your system administrator to make sure that SMS is enabled and active on your account, and that you have been granted access to access SMS service. If you are the account owner, you can add MMS Text Message service to your account by contacting the Customer Service Department by calling 855-345-7464 or by emailing us at service@ringbyname.com.

How do I send pictures/files via text message?
Simply click on the Paperclip and select an image, document, zip, or similar file under 3.5mb.The numbers you send images to will need to support MMS to receive them.

Any image larger than 3.5mb may not send or be automatically resized and may lose details. The numbers you send images to will need to support MMS to receive them.
