R! Face Video and Collaboration Chat

We recognize the importance of video and remote collaboration to businesses everywhere. RingByName Face is designed to keep internal communications as quick and seamless as as possible.

How is RingByName Face different than RingByName Meet?

  • RingByName Face is a one-click video, face-to-face feature to simplify collaboration between two team members.
  • There is nothing to install and configure, and team members can be collaborating in seconds!
  • If more team members are needed to collaborate they can be invited to join.

How do I use RingByName Face?

RingByName Face can be started by selecting the camera icon in green next to any of your coworkers' presence icon. If the icon appears grayed out, its because that agent isn't logged into the Ringbyname OX web portal.

When you click on the video icon for a coworker, they'll get an invitation at the top of the screen and be able to accept or decline your request. A windows notification will also appear directly on your computer.

If the coworker you invite declines your request, or if two minutes go by then you'll get a red notification indicating that they've rejected your request.

The R! Face icons also appear in your activity and team activity. There's a filter dedicated to these kinds of calls. Red camera icons are declined R! Face chats. Green camera icons are accepted R! Face chats.

Additionally, if you open up the contact page for a coworker you can also click on the green camera icon by their name on their contact page to start an R! Face chat.

I don't see any browser or windows notifications for R! Face.

I invited someone to an R! Face meeting, and they entered video chat, but I'm not getting any invite or video chat session.
